We’re Mike and Jessie Addington, and Front Porch Patriot is more than a nonprofit to us — it’s our family’s calling. Over the years, we’ve moved more times than we can count, but one thing has stayed the same: our love for veterans and our belief that children deserve every chance to succeed.

Now that we’re finally planting roots again, our dream is to create something lasting — a community effort that truly makes an impact. We know firsthand how heavy the costs of school sports, band, and activities can feel. We’ve seen too many kids sit out, not because they didn’t want to play, but because their family simply couldn’t afford it. For veterans’ families, those struggles can feel even heavier.

That’s why we’re here.

Through reselling with purpose, donations, and community partnerships, Front Porch Patriot raises funds to cover those costs — making sure no veteran’s child is left behind. Our goal is simple but powerful: support the children, strengthen the family, honor the service.

This mission isn’t just a program. It’s a promise from our porch to yours — that together, we can make a difference in the lives of veterans’ families, right here in our community.
