It features a traditional Japanese doll (likely a Ningyo or Geisha style) nestled inside a tightly woven round wicker basket. The doll is set into a domed pincushion made of beautiful red and gold silk brocade fabric with floral motifs.

The doll features a hand-painted face, traditional black hair, and is wearing a colorful kimono. Two small decorative silk balls (Temari style) hang from a ribbon at the front, adding a charming finishing touch.
